miRNAscope™ LS Reagent Kit Red

miRNAscope™ LS assay used to detect cartilage-specific miR-140-5p (top row) in mouse embryo cartilage tissues including the digits, somites, and ear tissues. Scramble negative control (bottom row) was used to determine specificity and background.

miRNAscope™ LS assay demonstrates robust and specific detection of miR-124-3p in the mouse embryo tissues. miR-1243p (left image) was detected predominately in the mouse brain, but absent in other tissues such as the lung or liver. Scramble negative control probe (right image) was used to demonstrate specificity of the assay.

miRNAscope™ LS assay was used to detect the siRNA#1 probe. Above images showed specific detection of the siRNA#1 probe in the siRNA#1 treated sample (middle image) and not in the negative (left image) nor siRNA#2 treated samples (right image) showing successful delivery of siRNA#1 therapy and specificity of the miRNAscope Assay.

The miRNAscope LS Assay is designed as an automated assay on the Leica Biosystems' BOND RX Research Advanced Staining System. The highly specific and sensitive miRNAscope Assay is designed to detect small RNAs with spatial and morphological context at single-cell resolution.  Leveraging ACD’s RNAscope core technology, the miRNAscope assay is designed to enable applications for small RNAs including the detection of antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs), microRNAs (miRNAs), small interfering RNAs (siRNAs), and other smaller RNAs that are 17-50 bases.

  • Detect and identify cellular subtypes
  • Visualize gene regulation with morphological context
  • Validate miRNA biomarkers in intact tissues
  • Assess small RNA therapeutic delivery mechanism
  • Evaluate biodistribution and efficacy of therapy
  • Add a visual dimension to heterogeneous tissue biology and analysis

These new miRNAscope LS reagents require the new miRNAscope LS Probes for optimal performance. miRNAscope LS probes are not compatible with RNAscope LS or BaseScope LS reagents
