BaseScope LS Reagent Kit – RED

The BaseScope LS Reagent Kit is designed to be automated on the Leica Biosystems BOND RX Research Advanced Staining System. The BaseScope Assay leverages the same platform as proven and established within the RNAscope technology but expands the detection capabilities, enabling the detection of short RNA target sequences and exon junctions in cells and tissues with morphological context, providing new data dimensions and unique insight into biological mechanisms.

The BaseScope LS Reagent Kit, with its high contrast Fast Red dye, is the first choice in in situ hybridization applications where chromogenic staining with DAB is less desirable (i.e. staining of highly pigmented lung, liver, retina and melanoma tissue specimens). Also, for genes where a lower expression is assumed, ACD recommends this kit, as the red dots clearly distinguish against the hematoxylin staining and are visible under standard brightfield microscope.
