Visualize Gene Expression and Genetic Variations in situ with the RNAscope® and BaseScopeTM ISH Technology

Advanced Cell Diagnostics’ RNAscope® platform is fast becoming a routinely used method for gene expression analysis in situ, with over 580 peer-reviewed publications using this method. The RNAscope® and BaseScopeTM assays are two highly sensitive and specific RNA in situ hybridization (ISH) methods to visualize gene expression and genetic variations in the tissue environment. Both assays provide single-cell and single-molecule RNA detection in the context of complex disease microenvironments. In this seminar the RNAscope® and BaseScopeTM ISH technology and illustrations of published applications will be presented:

  • Detect mRNAs and lncRNAs at single molecule sensitivity by RNAscope® Assay
  • Pinpoint expression of novel RNAs of interest
  • Target specific splice junctions by BaseScopeTM Assay
  • Identify point mutations or gene editing by BaseScopeTM Assay
  • Detect short sequences with BaseScopeTM Assay
  • Distinguish specific homologues, paralogues, and orthologues by RNAscope® or BaseScopeTM Assays
  • Perform single cell analysis with morphological information in FFPE or frozen tissues
