RNAscope™ Technology Seminar - Cologne
Dr. Linda Engström Ruud, Institute of Neuronal Control of Brain Metabolism at the Max Planck Institute for Metabolism Research, Cologne will give a presentation: "First experience with RNAscope™"
In addition our Senior Director of Scientific Affairs, Dr. Emily Park, will present the application of RNAscope™ and BaseScope™ in Neuroscience research and will give an overview on:
- Detection, characterization, and (co-)localization of mRNAs in the central and peripheral nervous system
- Validation of target mRNA expression
- Validation of (cell type-specific) genetic modifications
- Detection of mRNA in the nervous system when no (reliable) antibodies are available
- Detection of long non-coding RNA (lncRNA)
- Visualization of neuronal activity and plasticity markers
