RNAscope® Technology Seminar - Oxford, UK

The RNAscope® technology is being routinely used for tissue-based gene expression analysis for cancer research applications. In particular, the ultra-high sensitivity and specificity enables researchers to examine tumor heterogeneity within the tumor and in the tumor micro-environment. This technology, with its capacity to provide single-cell and single-RNA molecule sensitivity in the context of the tumor, has advanced cancer research and has been applied in over 800 publications.

 

Faraia Shah will present an overview on:

Visualizing gene expression and genetic variations in cancer research using RNAscope® and BaseScope™ Assays

  • Detect mRNAs and lncRNAs at single molecule sensitivity by RNAscope® assay
  • Target specific splice junctions for aberrant alternative splicing in cancers by BaseScope™ assay
  • Characterize expression profiles of various cancer markers in tumors and micro-environment
  • Case studies with PDL1, EGFR and other cancer markers will be discussed.
