Watch Video:
Outline:

The RNAscope™ in situ hybridization (ISH) technology provides a powerful method to detect gene expression within the spatial and morphological tissue context. The proprietary “double Z” probe design in combination with the advanced signal amplification enables highly specific and sensitive detection of the target RNA with each dot visualizing a single RNA transcript. This robust signal-to-noise technology allows for the detection of gene transcripts at the single molecule level with single-cell resolution and can further expand our understanding of gene expression in cell lines and tissues samples.

Who should attend:
  • Researchers interested in expanding their spatial biology capabilities.
  • Scientists working with 'hard-to-detect' targets with sub-optimal antibodies.
  • Researchers working with small RNA species, splice variants, point mutations and non-coding RNAs.
Learning Objectives:
  • Learn about the RNAscope, BaseScope and miRNAscope assays that enable detection of a diverse range of targets.
  • Broad applications of the RNAscope technology in research areas such as Oncology, Neuroscience, Infectious disease, Developmental biology and more .
  • Compatible workflow with IHC/IF allowing detection of RNA and protein simultaneously.
  • Multiplexing capabilities enable detection of multiple targets on the same tissues section.
