Education Experience

  • 10 years relevant industry experience in clinical diagnostics (sales, marketing, product management, business development)
  • Post-graduate degree preferred (MBA, MS, MA, etc.)
  • At least 5 years in a manager role or above, for a tissue –based diagnostics company focused on the anatomic pathology market
  • Ability to travel (up to 50%)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop/foster relationships with key opinion leaders in anatomic pathology for collaborations, early access testing, and guidance on new applications
  • Determine areas of unmet needs and opportunities in tissue based testing and clinical applications for RNAscope in anatomic pathology
  • Lead business development efforts with executive support to partner with other diagnostics companies (eg, Ventana, Dako) to develop RNAscope for their clinical platforms
  • Identification of strategic partners and opportunities to drive adoption and growth of ACD products in clinical market, including reference laboratories, professional/laboratory organizations, and other companies in the diagnostic space
  • Lead relationship with Leica to help drive continued growth of RNAscope use on the Bond platform, including responsibility for training activities and marketing support
  • Manage ACD’s Dx products (including Class I/II/III IVD, CDx, and CE-IVD), both those manufactured by ACD as well as those offered through Leica
  • Manage ACD’s pipeline of Dx probes, including selection and prioritization of probes for ASR/IVD/CDx, working with the R&D and IVD teams to develop and test probes, and determining timelines for ASR/IVD/CDx launch
  • Support sales and marketing teams to promote RNAscope as a Dx and a CDx platform technology through presentations, participation in client meetings, conference attendance, and collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Work with CMO, CCO, Head of Global Dx Sales, and others on ex-US clinical diagnostic strategy (EU, Canada, China, Japan), including early access programs, launch planning, reimbursement, pricing, and related activities
  • Manage relationships with key high-profile accounts and partners
  • Provide strategic leadership in selection of targets and execution of studies in support of efforts to obtain FDA and/or CE-IVD clearances of ACD products, including CDx
