Ensure achievement of territory sales objectives are in line with company mission. Control, organize and direct sales activities through both strategic and tactical activities, and to provide regular reports on status of specific sales, the market and competitor activities. Development of a territory and account-specific sales plan. Execution of plan to meet sales quotas. Utilization and maintenance of CRM. Delivery of technical/scientific seminars and presentations on Advanced Cell Diagnostics products and their capabilities. Demonstrate role and relevance of company Diagnostics product portfolio and provide consultation to customers on same. Demonstrate command of scientific knowledge to engage in collaborative sale. Partner cross-functionally to appropriately address the needs of customer base. Engage customers in both simplex and complex sales environment. Coach, mentor, and guide sales team members. Lead strategic and tactical initiatives at BioPharma accounts. Successfully navigate representing new technology and ACD brand. Engage in accurate forecasting and CRM activities. Effectively prospect and generate new customer leads. Manage new and existing customer base. Develop and maintain strong customer connections at various levels in the organization. Work to be performed remotely from a home office within the sales territory. Requires Bachelor’s degree in genetics, biology, biochemistry or related fields. 2-year experience in life science field sales required. Frequent overnight travel within the assigned sales territory is required. Candidate must live within the territory and have knowledge of and contacts at Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology companies within the territory; experience managing B2B relationships with pharmaceutical companies, including negotiation and implementation of MSAs, CDAs, terms, and pricing; experience organizing and delivering technical scientific seminars and presentations; experience selling either scientific reagents and/or instruments as a field salesperson; experience using a CRM system to manage client data.
